historical notes Beriah Wall was a Providence, RI businessman and art collector who collected French paintings especially of the Barbizon School.

Artwork from Wall's collection was sold at an auction in 1881, via Leavitts Clinton Hall Sales Rooma, and in 1886, via the American Art Association, at Chickering Hall in New York City.
