CommentaryHans Dircxsz., leather tanner in de Swarte Bock op 't Water, paid a tax of 6 f. in 1585 (Van Dillen, Amsterdam, p. 121). On 6 September 1590, Hans Dijrricksz., leerkoper (dealer in leather), and Brecht Willems had their son Abram baptized in the O.K. in the presence of Maijken van Harcke (DTB 2/64).
