He was the brother of Frederick, Jan, and Jacob Claesz. Roch. Hans Hanswyck (of R 31647 of Montias2) married Erm Claes Roch, the daughter of Claes Jacobsz. Roch, the son of Jacob Claesz. Roch and the niece of Simon Claesz. (Hans Hanswyck bought lots at the sale of Simon Claesz. but no works of art) (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 407). On 26 July 1602, Jacob Claesz. On 6 June 1611, Erm Claes, widow of Hans van Hanswijck, assisted by her guardian, her brother Jan Claesz. Roch, and, as far as two other parts are concerned, her two brothers--in-law Gerard Dircx Muysenest (of R 33258) and Andries van den Broeck and her above-mentioned brother, sell Jacob Evertsz., silk cloth dealer, a half share in Walcheren in Seelant (Kam, aar was dit huis in de Warmoesstraat? 37/22, p.432).
