Art collector and writer, Anne Parrish married the industrialist, Charles Albert Corliss (d.1936), in 1915, and in 1938, she married the writer, composer, and former editor of Publisher's Weekly, Josiah Titzell, who died in 1943 (New York Times, September 7, 1957). Anne Parish assembled an art collection that included the 1873 Impressionist painting Monet Painting in His Garden at Argenteuil by Pierre-Auguste Renoir which she bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum museum of art in Hartford, Connecticut. |
