Albert Henry Wiggin was an art collector and banker (Chase National Bank). Wiggin's collection included prints, drawings, watercolors, and books. He collected French, British and American works of art on paper and his collection included work by, among others, Henri Fantin-Latour, Francisco Goya, Honoré Daumier, George Bellows, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Thomas Rowlandson, Jean-Louis Forain, and Alphonse Legros. He gave the bulk of his collection to the Boston Public Library and other works can be found at the New York Public Library and the Baltimore Museum. |
