Amanda Katherine Berls and Ruth Agnes Yerion formed a collection of American Art from the late 19th to the late 20th centuries, with a concentration of work by Realists. They were both lawyers and graduates of New York University and Yale Law Schools. Berls and Yerion donated 41 American paintings and drawings to the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. |
