Established as a dealer in Rome ca. 1919, ca. 1931-33 he moved to Florence, where he lived in the villa Pratello Orsini. He was closely involved with the formation of the collections of Felix Warburg and Samuel Kress between ca. 1930-55. His own private collection was given to the Uffizi in 1969. |
