history Barbara Piasecka Johnson was an art collector, humanitarian, philanthropist, Polish immigrant and widow of J. Seward Johnson, Sr., one of the founders of Johnson & Johnson.

She and her husband collected both Seventeen-century Dutch and Flemish paintings, old masters and impressionists works of art.

She bought Badminton Cabinet for $15.1 million 1990, sold eighteenth-century Italian piece for $36.7 million to Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein 2004.
