Eli Broard is an art collector, businessman and financier. As a trustee and patron, Mr. Broad's affiliations are extensive, including involvement at over 25 major museums and art institutions nationwide, such as The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art and The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York; and The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and Hammer Museum. He is a former Citizen Regent of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution. Broad’s collection includes work by Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Anselm Kiefer, Cy Twombly, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jef Koons, Julian Schnabel, John Baldessari, Chuck Close, Richard Diebenkorn, Alexander Calder, Roy Lichtenstein, Carl Andre, Elsworth Kelly, Sam Francis, Robert Rauschenberg, and Cindy Sherman. Broad has two collections the Eli and Edythe L. Broad Collection and the public collection of The Broad Art Foundation. |
