Collector, Contractor, Engineer, and Vice President and Director of Milliken Brothers (Iron and Steel Contractors). Milliken's collection included, among others, work by Titian, Degas, Delacroix, Sisley, Renoir, Corot, Millet, William Morris Hunt, and William Merritt Chase. Milliken's collection was sold via the American Arts Association at Mendelssohn Hall, New York, NY, in 1902. Milliken was a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the City Midday Club, the Municipal Art Society, the Chamber of Commerce, Lawyer's Club, University Club, Racquet Club, and the Larchmont Yacht Club. |
