Henry D. Hill was the owner of Berry-Hill Galleries and an art historian. After having served Britain in WWI and working in the family business dealing rare antiquities, Frederick Berry & Sons, Hill moved to New York and founded his own gallery with his brother Sidney. Hill specialized in gold snuff boxes, China Coast paintings of the 19th century and American Impressionist paintings. |
