James "Jock" Whitney Fosburgh was an American painter, collector, and author. Fosburgh was married to Minnie Cushing Astor Fosbrugh (1906-1978) and together they built an art collection which included works by Cézanne, Renoir, Winslow Homer, Walter Sickert, William Nicholson and Pavel Tchelitchew. |
