Emily Fisher Landau is an art collector, patron and philanthropist. Landau houses her collection in a Long Island exhibition and study facility, which she opened in 1991. Landau’s collection encompasses work produced from 1960 to the present. The collection includes work by Richard Artschwager, Donald Baechler, John Baldessari, Jenny Holzer, Alfredo Jaar, Neil Jenney, Jasper Johns, Donald Judd, Sherrie Levine, Glenn Ligon, Agnes Martin, Robert Rauschenberg, Susan Rothenberg, Ed Ruscha, Kiki Smith, Mark Tansey, and Cy Twombly. Landau also collects machine-age (1930s) tubular aluminum furniture by Warren McArthur (1885 – 1961) - this too is housed in Long Island. |
