history | W. Dan Quattlebaum and his wife, Edith Brockett Quattlebaum, lived in Pasadena, California. He was a minister for the Baptist Church and served as the head of the California Audubon Society. In 1926, the Quattlebaums began collecting American glass made before the middle of the nineteenth century as well as porcelain objects. Parts of their collection were later donated to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Charleston (S.C.) Museum. | ||||||||||||
