The Ward-Nasse Gallery, founded by Harry Nasse, has been a respected landmark in SoHo, and a place of opportunity for artists for over 30 years. The gallery first opened in Boston during the early sixties. It subsequently moved to its present location in 1970, where it continues to be dedicated to all artists at various stages of their careers. As an alternative space, attendance to the gallery's 2,000 ft. first-floor space has risen over the years to its current 15,000 visitors annually. All modes of contemporary art are exhibited, from traditionally executed works to more experimental art forms. Artists from across the country share walls with artists from Europe, Asia and South America. |
