Art gallery in Los Angeles operated by Benjamin Horowitz. Horowitz was born in New York City in 1912, and moved to Hollywood shortly before the outbreak of World War II. His early dedication to the work of Black-American artists, chief among them Charles White, distinguished Horowitz and his gallery. Horowitz, who actively promoted White's work and career, gave him more than fifty one-person exhibitions. |
