Together with his wife, Viola Spiess Flannery Nadelman (1878-1962), he formed a folk art collection which included an array of media, including furniture, sculpture, paintings, ceramics, glass, iron, pewter, drawings and watercolors, and household tools.


The bulk of the collection is now with the New-York Historical Society.
