In 1903, W.C.A. Huinck (1881–1966) took over his father’s, AJ Huinck (1847 -?), Utrecht art gallery. W. Scherjon (1878-1938) Scherjon was a printer and publisher in the same city. In 1930 W.C.A. Huinck and W. Scherjon formed a partnership, Huinck & Scherjon Gallery, and were located at 469 Herengracht in Amsterdam. They specialized in The Hague, Amsterdam, French Impressionists, and the Barbizon Schools. After the death of Scherjon, Huinck continued the art trade until 1955. Scherjon (1878–1938) was drukker en uitgever in dezelfde stad. Vanaf 1930 werkten zij samen in de kunsthandel Huinck & Scherjon aan de Herengracht 469 te Amsterdam. Zij waren gespecialiseerd in de Haagse en Amsterdamse School en in de Franse impressionisten en de School van Barbizon. Huinck heeft na de dood van Scherjon de kunsthandel voortgezet tot 1955. |
