George way worked in a supermarket deli and was a collector of English and Dutch art and furniture from the 16th and 17th centuries. Way lent his collection to museums for three decades, and after his death, some of his collection entered the New York State Museum, and Van Wagenen House. Other fine and decorative works from his collection would be auctioned on June 12, 2020, at Skinner auction house in Boston. |
