history Mary "Minnie" Cushing Astor Fosburgh, nee Mary Benedict Cushing, was a philanthropist and art collector. Fosburgh was a trustee of the Yale Art Gallery and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Fosburgh and her second husband, James Whitney Fosburgh (1910-1978), built an art collection which included work by Paul Cézanne, Winslow Homer, William Nicholson, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Walter Sickert, and Pavel Tchelitchew.

Fosburgh's first mariage to Vincent Astor (1891–1959) ended in the divorce in 1953, and that same year she married James Whitney Fosburgh.
