history Schenck's Art Gallery, also known as the Schenck Gallery or Mr. Edward Schenck's Gallery, was a New York City Auction house owned by Edward Schenck (1820-1895). Edward’s son, Frank H. Schenck (ca. 1858-1900), worked for his father and continued the business until his death in 1901.
