Werner Abegg was an art collector and textile manufacturer. In 1961, he and his wife, Margaret, found the Abegg Foundation and in 1967 they moved into a newly built prestigious building complex to Riggisberg where Abegg also took residence. Here the collection remains and is on view at the musem. |
