Dr. Leslie's bequeathed his extensive art collection to prestigious institutions like the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. His commitment to the arts was further highlighted by the establishment of a humanities center in his and Fannie's names at Dartmouth College, his alma mater.
