Sidney Gerber was a Seattle businessman, civil rights champion and art collector who died in 1965. He and his wife collected Native American Art from the Northwest coast and this collection is now housed at the Burke Museum. They also collected work by American and European avant-garde, minimal and conceptual artists. |
