Jon Wurtzburger is an art collector, pilot, former stockbroker (retired governor on the New York Stock Exchange) and a philanthropist. In 1990 Wurtzburger began his association with AirLifeLine, a group of pilots who volunteer their time providing transportation to patients in financial need. Wurtzburger's parents Alan and Janet Wurtzburger were also art collectors who left a good portion of their collection to the Baltimore Museum of Art. His collection includes work by Jeane Arp, Georges Rouault, and Henry Moore. Jon Wurtzburger married Reva Sara Sprafkin in 1957. |
