history |
Clarence T. Lindely, physician by trade, was an art, book, and collector. His art (200 works of art), book and gem collections were given to the Davenport Municipal Art Gallery (1929), now the Figge Art Museum, and along with Charles A. Ficke's gift in 1922, helped established the permanent collection. Lindley married Cora Ann Thurston (1859–1919) in 1888. |
