Having arrived in New York City in 1919, naturalized in 1928, Kouchakji married the American journalist Evelyn Curtis, 1905-1980, in Washington, D.C., in 1930. Works of fine and decorative arts from the Kouchakji collection sold via Sotheby’s, New York , on March 1, and June 1, 1978. |
