Bernard Braddon was an art dealer who operated Mercury Galleries in New York, N.Y. (1937 to 1940). Mercury Gallery held the 6th show of The Ten, an avant-garde group in the 1930's, called the Whitney Dissenters. The group included Ben-Zion, Ilya Bolotowsky, Adolph Gottlieb, Louis Harris, Jack Kufeld, Mark Rothko (then Marcus Rothkowitz), Louis Schanker, Joseph Solman, and Nahum Tschacbasov. |
