Watson Bradley Dickerman was an art collector, financier, horseman, horse show exhibitor and chairman of the NYSE, 1892-1894. He owned Joseph Mallord William Turner's "The Rape of Proserpine" and Hans Holbein the Younger's "Sir Brian Tuke", Delacroix's "The Disciples at Emmaus", and Lorenzo Costa's "Portrait of a Man of the Bentivoglio Family." His wife was Florence Elaine Dickerman (d. 1963). He lent Aelbert Cuyp's "Milking-Time," to the Hudson-Fulton Celebration, 1909. |
