Harper's collection consisted of 556 paintings, drawings, bronzes and oriental porcelains and was sold at Moore's Gallery, ca. 1886. The collection included Detaile's "Grenadier of the Guard," Constant Troyon's "Cow & Donkey," and Vibert's water color "The Cardinal."

Fletcher lent work to the 1867, Paris Exposition.
