Buyer NotesThe buyer, Jacob Jacobsz. Blaeuwenhelm (or Blaeuwenhaen), 1596-1626, cloth merchant on the Nieuwendijk in den Blaeuwen Helm, married Trijntge Roch, 1602-1654, on 11 October 1620. He was the son of Jacob Willemsz., lakenkooper in den blaeuwen Helm and of Aeltge Jacobs Seeu (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 408). When the post-mortem inventory of Aeltgen Jacobs was taken on 14 November 1623, she was said to be the widow of Jacob Willemsz. Blaunhelm (NA 255, film 127, fol. 411, Not. Meerhout). On 18 September 1621, Jacob Jacobsz. Blaeuhelm and Trijntje Claes had their daughter Aeltgen baptized in the O.K. in the presence of Hendrick Lourensz., Trijntje Jacobs, and Annetge Dowisdr. (DTB 6/122). The widow of Jacob Jacobsz. Blaeuwenhelm, living on the Keysersgracht, paid a tax of 50 f in 1631 (Kohier, fol. 92, p. 22).
