On 11 July 1617, Werner van Valkert and his wife Jannetje Cornelis had their son Cornelis baptized in the N.K. in the presence of Frans Bastiaensz. (DTB 39/465). On 19 November 1619, Werner Valckert and Reijntje Jans had their daughter Geertruyt baptized in the N.K. (DTB 40/65). It is not certain that this Valckert was the painter (who would have prompltly remarried after the death of his first wife). |
