Buyer NotesBartholomeus Jansz. Schout (or Schouten), born in 1612, was pagador van t' krijgsvolk te Amsterdam. He married Jannetge van Oorschot, born in Alkmaar in 1615, on 9 June 1637 (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 869). He may be related to Balthasar Schouten, from Haarlem, 22, who was betrothed to Geertruyt Moyerts, from Amsterdam, 19, living on the Gelderse Kay, assisted by the painter Claes Moyert (of R 8397) on 4 May 1641 (Oud Holland 3(1885), p.232.) Tot Ketel has not been identified (Cornelis Ketel was of course long dead by this date).
