R. de Roever suggested that this lot might be identical with een wateverffdoeck van Hans Breugel wesende een boerenkermis in the death inventory of Gillis van Coninxloo of 19 January 1607 (Oud Holland, 3(1885), p. 43). This is plausible but uncertain. |
