Commentary | Adam van Dam of the present inventory is perhaps identical with Adam Damen who signed the 1645 petition to the Vroedschap calling for the enforcement of currency regulations issued in 1622 (Van Dillen, Wisselbanken R.G.P. 59(1925), p. 89). On the inventory of Wouter van Ooorthoorn, who signed the inventory as the notary's clerk, and of his wife Christina van Dien of 27 December 1673, see INVNO 126 and R 34 of Montias1. |
