Commentary	The insolvent wine dealer of this inventory is probably not identical with Cornelis de Meijer, the buyer of R 31367, who seems to have been a much older man. He is likely to be the individual named Cornelis de Meijer who was said to be 28 years old in a deposition of 28 May 1636 (NA 695A, film 4821, Not. J. Warnaerts). He may also be the individual named in the following procuration. On 11 May 1634, Mr. Adolphus de Visscher, predikant of the Augsburg Confession (Lutheran), item Floris and Hendrick Visscher, and Meynert Meynertsz., as husband and guardian of Maria Visscher, all children of Adolphus Visscher de oude name Cornelis de Meyer to collect 1000 f. from Paridom van Horn in Stockholm (NA 771, fol. 219, Not. Verhey).
