Commentary	The only individual of this name, whose dates would seem to correspond, is Isaack Mayer, from Aachen, who was 23 years old when he was betrothed to Sibilla Osten, from Doesburg, on 30 May 1628 (DTB 432/621). He is the presumed buyer of R 35296 of Montias2. None of the three paintings the latter bought at auction were titled, so that no matching of purchased lots with items in this inventory could be effected.
