Commentary	Christoffel Barentsz., beer distributor, whose mother-in-law was Annetje Joris, widow of Albert Cornelisz. Sevenbergen, is probably not identical with the individual of the same first name and patronymic, the son of the book seller Barend Adriaensz., of R 30522. The book seller, and presumably his son, is thought to have been R.C. The beer distributor, judging by the numerous portaits of Prince Maurits in his inventory, was probably Reformed (perhaps Lutheran). He may be the individual who was said to be 28 years old on 10 January 1626 when he was betrothed to Roeloffgen Willems, living in the Breestraet, 34 (DTB 431/11). An individual also named Christoffel Barentsz. (perhaps identical with the one just cited) had his son baptized in the Lutheran Church on 15 November 1629. As usual, the mother's name was not cited (DTB 129/320).
