Commentary	Augustijn d'Colenaer II was the son of the attorney Augustijn d'Colenaer I (of INVNO 688) and of Maria Simeys. On 22 January 1622, Augustijn, Maria and Laurens de Colenaer, children of Augustijn de Colenaer and of Marie Simeys, received certain assets which had accrued since 1611, left to them by their uncle on their mother's side (Maria Simeys' brother), Dirck Simey (NA 415, Not. J. Jacobsz., act copied in 1636). On 22 August 1631, Augustijn de Ceulenaer (he signs Colenaer), drogist, living in the Armsteech, was betrothed to Marija Majeur, form Amsterdam, 25, assisted by her meur Jannetje Chijnu (de Chanu ?) (DTB 437/305). Maria Majeur was the sister of Susanna Majeur who was betrothed to Hans Bultel (of R 36476) on 31 March 1632. Both Maria and Susanna were probably daughters of Tousain (or Toussaint) Majeur. The latter, living in the Warmoestraet, already had seven children at the time he contributed to the Haarlem lottery of 1606 (27/83 F 214). In February 1610, Toussain Majeur put up for sale de Hertoch van Venetie, located 119 Warmoesstraat (Kam, Waar was dat huis in de Warmoesstraat, 1968, 36/15). Augustijn de Colenaer II was a buyer at WK auction in 1637 (R 25268 of Montias2). The present inventory contained in the attic (solder) various types of drogist wares, including schuijm van silver, Calmus, and orange peels.
