Commentary | On Daniel Mostart, secretary of the city of Amsterdam, the late husband of Maria Jans van Beuningen, see the NOTES to R 21940 of Montias2. Maria Jans was the daughter of Jan Dircksz. van Beuningen (of R 21007 of Montias2) and the sister of Daniel Jansz. van Beuningen of R 21940. Catharina Coenradt Burch (1591-1667) was the widow of Geurt Dircksz. van Beuningen (not Dirck Geurtsz., as cited in the INTRO). Maritge Daniel Bernart was the daughter of the merchant Daniel Bernart of R 32161. Constant Sennepaert (1625-1703), son of Hans Sennepaert and Annetje Bourgois, was a rich collector of art and naturalia (see the NOTES to R 20970 of Montias2). Daniel Sennepaert, mirror maker, married to Jannetje Fisceau, may have been Hans's brother (WK 5073/789, 25 April 1634). |
