Commentary | On 20 June 1624, Gysbrecht van Goedesberg, from Wezel, 29, wonende op de Torensmarckt, was betrothed to Magdalena Jans, from Amsterdam, 18, assisted by her father Jan Evertsz. and her mother Geertie Joppen, living op't Water. Both signed Goedesberg (DTB 429/170). On 4 July 1627, Ghysbert van Goedesberch and Magdalena Jans had their daughter Marija baptized in the O.K. in the presence of Pieter Gumbst, Elisabeth Nerings and Jannetje Everts (DTB 6/177). Marija Goesbergen became the second wife of Pieter Belten de oude of INVNO 980. On 16 November 1628, Ghysbert van Goesbergen and Magdalena Jans had their son Jan baptized in the O.K. in the presence of Jeronimus Broeckhuysen, Geertje Joppen, and Jan Evertsz. van Heerde (DTB 6/222). On 28 May 1630, Gijsbert Goedsberch and Magdalena Jans van Haerden had their son Jan baptized in the N.K. (DTB 41/82). |
