Commentary | This inventory in part duplicates INVNO 272 of Hans Koijmans of 12 January 1638. The information, including the evaluations, covered in the present inventory but not in INVNO 272, have been added to the records under the latter number in MONTIAS2. The owner of INVNO 2720, called Hans Coeymans, may be identical with Johannes Coymans, named in the INTRO to Hans Coymans's inventory INVNO 272. He would then be the son of this first Hans Coymans. He is certainly not identical with Joan Coymans, the son of Balthasar Coymans who married Sophia Trip (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 764). Joannes Coijmans, the son of Hans Koijmans II of this inventory, cited in the INTRO, was betrothed with Lysbeth van der Heijde of Gorcum on 11 April 1654. He was assisted by his uncle Albert Claesz. Maandal (?) and she by her nichte Maria Struijckx (DTB 473/122). | |
