Commentary	On 15 July 1650, Arent Gabbesen, widower of Claesje Evers, from Amsterdam, schipper, living in the Haarlemmerstraet, was betrothed to Maritie Jacobs, widow of Pieter Stockman (DTB 467/700). According to the INTRO, Cornelis Gerritsz. was the guardian of the couple's children.
