Commentary	On 18 April 1637, Aris Jacobsz., from Aelsmaer, grain carrier (corendrager), assisted by his father Jacob Claesz., living in the Heijligewegh, was betrothed to Neeltje Jans. The marriage was celebrated in Alsmeer (DTB 446/154). On 14 February 1638, the couple had their daughter Marritje baptized in the N.K. (DTB 42/168).
