Postscriptum: Ende verclaerde de voors. weduwe hiermede alle aengegeven te hebben . Gedaen ende geinventariseert op de 13 ende 16 Augusti 1673.
Commentary	On 5 April 1640, Philippus Lyngelbach, from Frankfort-am-Main, clockmaker, 26, no living parents, assisted by Davit Lingelback, was betrothed to Hester Heijckens, from Amsterdam, 21, living on the Breestraet (DTB 579/192). On 3 February 1663, Philips Lingelbach, widower of Hester Hijckens, was betrothed to Jannetje Cornelis (DTB 685/256). The Lingelbachs were Lutheran. Hence, as customary, the name of the mother is not cited in the following baptisms (she must, however, have been his first wife, Hester Heijckens or Haijckens). On 28 Marcht 1649, Philips Lingelbach had his son David baptized in the Lutheran Church in the presence of David Lingelbach I and Angnietie Heijckens (DTB 142/115). On 1 November 1634, David Lingelbach (probably the brother of Johannes and Philips), clockmaker in Frankfort/am/Main apprenticed his son, 16 years old, with a lockmaker for two years, who would be paid 150 f. for the entire period (Van Dillen, Bronnen tot de geschiedenis van het bedrijfsleven 144(1974), p. 71). On 23 April 1638, David Lingelbach, living in the Dolhof on the Loyersgracht, widower, assisted by Hendrick Hendricksz., lockmaker in the Corsgensraet, was betrothed to Heyltje Fabritius, widow, living in the Engelsteeg, assisted by Barent Joosten, armorer (NA 1022, Not. Seb. van der Piet). David Lingelbach was the author of Ontdeckte Schyndeugd (cited in Roodenburg, Onder het censuur, p. 78). On 10 March 1650, Philips Lingelbach had his son Frederick baptized in the presence of Frederick Heijckens and Stijntje Lingelbachs (DTB 142/187). Stijntje Lingelbachs is probably identical with Stijntje Lourens, the (first?) wife of David Lingelbach. Philips Lingelbach, who owned a dollhof, a sort of amusement park with many automatons, was the brother of the painter Johannes Lingelbach. On 26 April 1653, Johannes Lingelbach, from Frankfort-am-Main, painter, living on the Roosegracht, 29, having a sick father, was betrothed to Tietje Hendrix Poussi (Bussi), from Amsterdam, living in the Corsiesteech, assisted by her mother Hilletje Baerents (Oud Holland 3(1885), p. 159).
