Commentary	According to a document dated 15 February 1625, Symon Fransz. (of R 20598 of Montias2), lumber dealer, the brother of the late Joost Fransz. of the present inventory, was appointed by the Orphan Chamber as guardian over the children of his brother, lumber dealer. The estate of the late Joost Fransz. owed 35 f. for one of his six children , named Frans, ter sake hij schilderen is lerende. Joost Fransz. was married to Lysbeth Jans, who survived him (NA 713, film 5147, Not. P. Carelsz). Note that both Joost and Symon Fransz. (Buyssecool) were living in the Houttuynen (see R 20598 of Montias2).
