Introduction	Den 7en november 1628 soo syn ten versoecke van Jan Braems vercocht de naervolgende goederen ende frayicheden.
Commentary	Jan Braems, the individual at whose request the goods were sold, frequently appeared as a buyer. His name does not seem to occur in the 1631 Kohier. A Jan Braems is mentioned in a contract for hiring a meesterknecht for a wax bleaching establishment in 1639, but this individual, who was living in Weesp and owned a blauselmolen, is probably not the same as the owner of these goods (Van Dillen, Bronnen tot de geschiedenis van het bedrijfsleven R.G.P., 144(1974), p. 220.) He is probably identical with Jan Braems, from Dover in England, who, on 12 July 1612, was betrothed to Abigael van Haringhoeck, from Dantzig, aged 22 (DTB 413/227). It was probably his innocent son Tymen for whose guardianship the Orphan Chamber appointed Hans Reynders, book keeper of the Wisselbank, on 11 July 1623 (WK 5073/513, fol. 12).
