Commentary | Hendrick Bouwer, born in 1547, married Catharina ten Berch on 25 November 1569. She was buried in the O.K. on 29 October 1624. She was the daughter of Marten ten Berch and Metgen Hansdr. Kind and the sister of Brechte ten Berch cited in the TEXT of R 184. Hendrick Brouwer was buried in the O.K. on 29 October 1624. His nephew Melchior Bouwer, the son of Hillebrand Brouwer, became secretary of Amsterdam (1611-1626) (Elias, Vroedschap, p. 413). He was a buyer at auction (R 27856 of Montias2). Catharina ten Berch was a regent of the Leprozenhuis. |
