CommentaryOn 16 May 1609, Stans Jacobsz., widower of Cornelisje Jans, living in the Gravenstraet, was betrothed to Jannetje Thomas, widow of Claes Tomasz., living in the Haringpackerijen (as in the above address), assisted by her mother Mary Pieters (DTB 666/177). On 14 September 1628, Stants Jacobsz., from Amsterdam, widower of Jannetje Thomas Sillinghs, living in the Keisersgracht, was betrothed to Tietje Pieters, 43, from Amsterdam (DTB 671/85).
