CommentaryAn individual by the name of Herman Albertsz. was dean of the huistimmerluiden- and kistemackersgilde in 1625 (see the deposition of 18 February 1626 in Van Dillen, Bronnen tot de geschiedenis van het bedrijfsleven, R.G.P. 78(1933), pp. 592-3.) His house, situated on the Deventer lumber market, next to Bartolomeus van Gennep of R 27481, is cited in the NOTES to that record. He may have been the brother of Lenardt Albertsz., stone merchant, who lived in that proximity (Kohier, fol. 217vo, p. 50).
